SHELLY BEACH FAMILY FISHING COMPETITION
The much-loved annual WSFC Shelly Beach Family Fishing Tournament held on Saturday 8th November was a tremendous success this year, drawing 54 participants who collectively weighed in 77 fish. The event was filled with excitement and friendly rivalry, although the kahawai proved elusive with only two caught throughout the competition. Interestingly, no kingfish were landed this year either. Competitors both regulars and newcomers enjoying the chance to catch up and share stories.
