AFFILIATION

Our club is affiliated with the New Zealand Sport FishingCouncil (NZSFC) and also the International Game FishAssociation (I.G.F.A).

We became affiliated with the NZSFC (previously named the New Zealand Big Game Fish Council [NZBGFC]) on 13th January 1990 as probationary members. We became fully affiliated members on 6th July 1991.

As a member of the Waikato Sport Fishing Club, you can:

 – Enjoy the amenities of other Affiliated Clubs of New Zealand

 – Eligibility for New Zealand Sport Fishing Council records   through the Club’s affiliation with the Council

 – Eligibility for International Game Fish Association (World Records) records through the Club’saffiliation with the Association

 – Discount energy from Just Energy for Sport Fishing Clubs and their members

 – Discount fuel cards from Petroleum Logistics Pacific Ltd (PLPL) for Club members
