Mixed bag results for Raglan over the past weeks, The winter water temps are coming in and boats have been lucky to get a handful of gurnard and a few Snapper for the table, The neighbour may have to miss out this time. On the other hand large winter moochers 20lb plus are getting caught and the people who have been lucky to find the fish seem to full up the bin with ease. As Graham Hubert reported they had a great day at Black rock bringing in some good fish around 10mtr mark.
Thames / Coromandel Report
Who said winter fishing is slow? plenty of boats catching limits of snapper in the farms, The landbased rock hoppers are doing great, lots of big 5kg plus snapper getting caught from the bricks, So while the boats in getting its winter service since none of us leave it until the last week before summer holidays…. it may be an idea to grab out the surfcaster and burley and head for the rocks! If your after something different downsize those baits and hooks and target some trevally, Plenty around this time of year,
