WSFC Newsletter June 2025

Hi all

Yes it's June already and our Fishing Year finishes on June 30th. So first things first make sure you have all your catch cards into our records officer at Catchcards@waikatosportfishing.co.nz. Then we can start processing for our end of year awards and trophies.

Secondly, we have our Bluefin Fishing Safety seminar at 6:30pm on Wednesday June 18th. We already have 77 registered for the event but can take up to 99 which is our maximum for the clubrooms. If you're still keen but haven't registered yet, you can still register here. Southern Bluefin Tuna Pre-Season Seminar Series - Hamilton

We'll be having our AGM in the next few months and we're always keen for a bit of extra help on committee. If you want to get involved to lend a hand with organising tournaments, sponsorship or even have ideas of things the club could do better or differently. Start thinking about joining the committee.

Finally we should be kicking of our Winter comp on July 1st, so keep an eye out later in this edition for more details on that.

Cheers

Bob
