The WSFC Snapper & Kingi Classic is held in mid November when the Snapper fishing is excellent.

The competition is held over 2 days which Anglers are able to fish
anywhere within New Zealand waters. And bring fish back to the WSFC Club Rooms, Grantham Street, Hamilton (Tournament Base) to weigh fish that have been caught and kept on ice. The 2017 competition will allow fish to be courtesy weighed,
witnessed and photographed. Catch cards will then be accepted to the competition thus reducing the need to ice and keep fish for up to 2 days. The beauty of this competition is that being able to fish anywhere,
enables anglers to fish to the weather conditions and this stops disappointment, drawn prizes through “no fishing” due to the weather. The tickets are available from Fish City, Committee, WSFC Club Night, Raglan Club Inc or by entering online and paying with credit card by clicking link at top of page.
